OKEY DOKEY KONRAD FISCHER is a project for exhibitions, presentations and interventions. Beginning with a series of shows in Los Angeles presenting historic artists alongside contemporary artists, it now includes an office in New York's Tribeca neighborhood, where it most recently presented Bruce Nauman's Office Edit #2, 2001.
The name for the project comes from Konrad Fischer who used the phrase frequently, ending conversations and letters with “Okey Dokey, Konrad Fischer”. Fischer was so well known for the saying that Sol LeWitt had a stamp with its inscription made especially for him, which serves as the logo for the project. The exclamation still accompanies the gallery today and is synonymous with a concentration on the essentials and a spirit of experimentation that continues to guide it.
